When my friend (who owns the Steam version of the game) and I try to play any mulitplayer mode, we're unable to join each other's game because "the client's version is different than the host's" or something to that effect. I suspect the problem lies in the fact that whereas he has 1.02, I believe I have 1.02 but the server thinks it's 1.00. I say this because under the My Games tab Conviction shows up as 1.00 and shows no updates available, but when I go to patch it manually the patch installer...
